AN afternoon of seated exercises and therapy will be held at The Princess Theatre in Burnham on Wednesday, July 3, starting at 2.30pm.
The seniors' event promises to be a relaxed gathering, designed to nurture both body and mind.
This event is part of the theatre's regular over-65 events that is generously funded by the HPC Community Fund grant that it was awarded in March 2024.
The theatre is are very thankful for the funds and aims to put this towards the participants' health and wellbeing.
The afternoon will start with a session of seated exercise led by Ann Panesar from Move or Lose It, who provides inclusive exercise classes in the community for the over 60s, or any adult looking for gentle, low impact exercise.
Following the exercise session, there will be a visit from Lyn from Somerset Holistic Therapies. She will give an insightful talk, sharing her wealth of knowledge on holistic approaches to health and well-being.
To make the afternoon even more enjoyable, there will be an offer of refreshments courtesy of the Cabaret café bar to allow guests to relax themselves and their minds, and socialise and indulge in some tasty treats in a welcoming and friendly atmosphere.
