YOU can sample the recipes from a new village cookbook at Brent Knoll Parish Hall later this summer.
The Tastes of Brent Knoll culinary event will take place on September 7 at 12pm to raise funds for St Michael's Church.
The event will offer a range of starters, mains, puddings and cakes, and attendees are welcome to bring their own drinks.
Tickets are £10 and can be bought from Brent Knoll Community Shop.
In his column in the Brent Knoll News, churchwarden Mike Smith said: "We are looking forward to September 7, when we will be launching the 'Tastes of Brent Knoll' cookbook.
"This will be an opportunity to taste food from the book in the Parish Hall from 12 to 2pm".
The Parish Hall will also host the Brent Knoll Bazaar & Farmers’ Market & Parish Café on September 14, from 10am to 12pm.
