A BUILDING previously used as a casino and nightclub in Burnham-on-Sea will be auctioned off later this year.
The High Street building was formerly home to Skye Bar, and will be auctioned off with a guide price of £250,000 by property agents David Plaister on Thursday, September 26.
The auctioneers described the building as 'an end of terraced, freehold commercial property occupying a prime position on the bustling High Street of Burnham-on-Sea'.
A spokesperson added: "This substantial two-storey building, formerly a casino on the ground floor and a nightclub above, offers a significant development potential, subject to planning permission."
Planning permission was previously granted for a change of use of the first floor of the building, which would have allowed for two apartments to be built inside - however, this has since lapsed.
The auction for the building will begin at 7pm, with in room, online, proxy, and telephone bidding options available for hopeful buyers.
