IT'S been a busy week for Somerset Council's planning department this week, with over 30 applications for the former Sedgemoor area.
Many of these are seeking permission for home extensions, and works for trees, however some are rather unique, including plans for a large back-garden swimming pool.
Other highlights include upgrading electricity lines, a variation to original plans for a new holiday park with nine holiday cottages, and two nine-metre-tall poles to be installed by BT.
