A WEDMORE man has been told to stay away from an area of Bristol and not approach anyone not known to him after being caught begging for a second time.
Mark Dargo, 38, of Worthington Close, was sentenced in his absence at Bristol Magistrates Court on Friday (October 11).
He was caught begging or gathering alms at Temple Meads Station in Bristol in June 2024.
At the magistrates court hearing, Dargo was found guilty in his absence and given a community order meaning he must not enter an area of Bristol including Bristol Temple Meads Station, Friary and Isambard Walk unless travelling through by train or while in possession of a valid ticket for travel to or from Bristol Temple Meads.
Magistrates also said he must not approach anyone not known to him in Bristol and ask for money.
Dargo was also fined £60.
