RNLI Retail is looking for a volunteer shop manager at Burnham-on-Sea.

The role comes with the responsibility of leading a team of retail volunteers to maximise shop hours and boost turnover, directly supporting the RNLI's life-saving work.

It involves recruiting and inspiring a team to run the shop, providing motivational inductions, ongoing training, and support in line with RNLI retail best practice and volunteer management guidance.

Supported by a community manager, the shop manager will empower the volunteer team for smooth day-to-day operations, maintaining a safe environment and alerting line management to any issues.

The role also includes offering a great shopping experience and creating a friendly and welcoming environment.

The new manager will ensure all shop volunteers champion the RNLI, its key messages, and build its reputation in the local area.

The RNLI is looking for individuals with enthusiasm, good communication skills, a personable manner, organisational skills, and customer service-related skills or experience.
