A jetski was rescued after its engine failed, leaving it stranded at sea.
Burnham-on-Sea RNLI lifeboat volunteers were called out by Milford Haven Coastguard at 12.43pm on November 23, after the jetski was seen drifting close to the beach.
The Atlantic 85 lifeboat, Doris Day and Brian, was launched with a four-man crew to find the jetski.
The coastguard said it was near Maddock Slade, while the owner, wearing a yellow jacket, was on the beach.
With the tide going out, the Atlantic 85 lifeboat would have been at risk if it went past Maddock Slade, so the station's tracked vehicle Kay's Cart was used to bring the jetski launch trailer to collect the jetski.
Helmsman Scott Rundle said: "Sea state was smooth, and the casualty was going well, until the engine stopped and would not restart.
"With the outgoing tide there was the risk of being swept out into the Bristol Channel."
The jetski was then returned to Burnham jetty.
The RNLI said: "If you’re in (or see) danger on our coastline, please don’t hesitate to dial 999 and ‘Ask for the Coastguard.’"
