WORK has started on a 248-home development in Highbridge.

Countryside is working with its partners on the Isleport Grove scheme, which features a range of affordable and high-quality homes.

The first homes on site, a collection of two-four bedroom properties, are set to be completed by the autumn 2023.

Countryside is working with Sigma Capital Group to deliver 87 build-to-rent units under its private rental brand, Simple Life, which delivers properties in areas experiencing an undersupply of high-quality, professionally managed rental homes.

The companies' first deal together was at the Strawberry Grange scheme in Bridgwater at the end of last year.
