It's been a long wait for fans of the regency romance who have been waiting to return to the Ton since the popular Netflix drama dropped in December 2020.

Will Regé Jean Page be in Bridgerton series two?

In a post on Instagram, the iconic gossip writer wrote: "While all eyes return to Lord Anthony Bridgerton's quest to find a Viscountess, we bid adieu to Regé Jean Page, who so triumphantly played the Duke of Hastings. We'll miss Simon's presence onscreen but he'll always be part of the Bridgerton family. Daphne will remain a devoted wife and sister, helping her brother navigate the upcoming social season and what it has to offer - more intrigue and romance than my readers may be able to bear."
While we might still be mourning the loss of the charming Simon Bassett, this author expects there will be just as much passion and drama as the show's first instalment.
Who is returning to Briderton for series two?
Phoebe Dynevor is expected to return to the Ton so that the Duchess can help her family through the season including encouraging her wild elder brother Anthony ( Johnathan Bailey) to marry and supporting her rebellious younger sister Eloise's debut (Claudia Jessie).
The rest of the Bridgertons are expected to make an appearance including Benedict ( Luke Thompson), (Colin (Luke Newton), Lady Violet (Ruth Gemmell), Francesca (Ruby Stokes), Gregory (Will Tilston) and Hyacinth (Florence Hunt).
While the Ton wouldn't be the same without its title family, we are looking forward to being reunited with our favourites characters from the show.
