Glastonbury is already well underway for 2023, but for some, the thought of getting tickets for next year's festival is already on their mind.
Thousands of people have already descended on Worthy Farm, with the 2023 event officially being opened yesterday (Wednesday, June 21).
Stages across the 900-acre site hosting world-class music stars as well as speeches by politicians, film screenings, theatre and circus performances until Sunday (June 25).
Heavy rain fell intermittently throughout Wednesday but it did not dampen the spirits of those arriving early for the festival.

How to register for Glastonbury 2024 tickets
Glastonbury has a fairly strict ticketing system to try and prevent touts which means you have to register in advance to even have the chance to apply for tickets.
On its website, it states: "To obtain tickets for Glastonbury Festival events you must register. Failure to follow the registration instructions correctly will lead to rejection, you will be notified if this occurs; however, we would advise that you check your registration prior to tickets going on sale to ensure your registration has been accepted."
It also clarifies that registering does not guarantee you a ticket.
You can register at the website here, which requires you to upload a photograph, which needs to be a passport-style one with a neutral expression, against a plain, light background.

Registration tends to stay open until October 31 the year before the festival takes place, The Scotsman reports.
At the moment there is no set date for tickets to go on sale, but it is likely to be around the end of 2023.
When will Glastonbury 2024 take place?
There is no set date yet, but it is usually around the last weekend in June, so the period of June 26-30 is a possibility.
