TRAVEL Somerset has released a list of major roadworks being undertaken across the county starting this week.
Among those schemes is a project in Pilton set to last five weeks and traffic signal refurbishment in Frome that will take at least eight weeks to complete.
MONDAY, OCTOBER 17.
Lamberts Hill and Ridge Lane, Pilton, various works, 20 working days.
West Hill, Milborne Port, drainage works, 10 days.
Allotment Lane, Chard, resurfacing, five days.
Orchardleigh, East Chinnock, drainage works, five days.
Ruishton Lane, Ruishton, vegetation clearance and signage, five days.
Baymead Lane, North Petherton, machine patching, one day.
THURSDAY, OCTOBER 20.
Christchurch Street East and Gorehedge, Frome, traffic signals refurbishment, 41 days.
Brooks Road, Street, replace kerbs, five days.
FRIDAY, OCTOBER 21.
Burcott Road, Wells, traffic signals refurbishment, seven days.
A series of standard roadworks are also being undertaken.
MONDAY, OCTOBER 17.
Marsh Lane, Dunster, walking and cycling improvements, 10 days.
Fosse Way, Pylle, gullies movement.
Tangier Way, Taunton, improved access to development, five days.
TUESDAY, OCTOBER 18.
Holes Lane to Railford Hill, Whatley, prep works before resurfacing, seven days.
