SOMERSET Rebels' home meeting with Rye House Rockets, due to take place this coming Wednesday (July 4), has had to be postponed.
Somerset announced the postponement and said it was due to "pending internal problems" at Rye House, who were also forced to cancel their June 27 fixture against Swindon.
The Somerset statement added: "We would like to emphasise that the circumstances are beyond our club's control and apologise to any fans and sponsors for this postponement.
"The decision to cancel has been taken early to try and mitigate any inconvenience to our patrons.
"We hope to be able to accommodate Rye House to the Oaktree later in the season."
The Rebels' next fixture is set to be away to Wolverhampton on Monday, July 9, before they welcome King's Lynn to the Oaktree Arena on Wednesday, July 11.
