HOPING to build stronger local relationships, a construction company has reached out to community projects to give them a helping hand.

In Weston-super-Mare, Taylor Wimpey Bristol has made a £500 donation to Sporting Weston FC, a grassroots football club from Weston-super-Mare.

Situated less than five miles away from Taylor Wimpey’s Mead Fields development, the donation has meant the club was able to fund two new dugouts at its grounds.

Rob Curry, sales and marketing director at Taylor Wimpey Bristol, said: “We are delighted to have been able to provide a range of causes with a £500 donation each.

“As a leading homebuilder, we make it our prerogative to invest in the communities surrounding our developments to ensure we make a positive impact, as well as working with organisations in these areas to help in any way we can.”
