SEVERAL thousands cricket fans enjoyed perfect weather for Somerset's latest T20 Vitality Blast match yesterday evening (Wednesday, June 1).
The only thing missing at Taunton's Cooper Associates County Ground was a win for the home side.
We sent our photographer Steve Richardson along to snap spectators having some fun before the start of the game.
There was music thumping out across the ground, while plenty of food and drink was devoured.
As for the game, Somerset lost by 47 runs after the visitors Sussex posted a competitive 216 for 7.
In reply, the home side looked to be in with a shout as overseas star Rilee Rossouw smashed an entertaining 74 off just 29 balls, including five sixes and eight fours.
But following his dismissal, Somerset struggled to keep up with the required rate and lost wickets quickly to suffer their first defeat in the competition this season.
