Barton Hill 14 - 40 Burnham-on-Sea
BURNHAM-on-Sea RFC earned an impressive away victory at the weekend against Barton Hill RFC.
Right from the off they were in control of proceedings and were deserved winners come the end of the eighty minutes.
The Stags now sit in sixth place in the Counties 1 Tribute Western North division and have won five from their opening nine fixtures.
There was a debut for Jake Rodmell off the interchange bench and the club congratulated him on the debut. A good win to start off his time at Burnham.
The Barton Hill side were no match for the free flowing Stags and the result sums that up well.
Burnham have continued to improve as the season has progressed and they now play some very attractive rugby.
Up next, they take on Clevedon at home on Friday, November 11 under the lights at the BASC Ground.
Burnham-on-Sea II 68 - 12 Tor II
THE Burnham Second XV also earned an impressive victory at home on the weekend to cap off a strong set of results for the Stags.
They defeated Tor RFC Seconds 68 points to 12 at the BASC Ground and climbed even further in front at the top of the Counties 4 Tribute Somerset South league table.
It has truly been an impressive start to the season for the Seconds. They have won all six of their opening fixures and are the form team in the competition.
Up next, they face the second placed Weston-super-Mare III in what could be their most challenging match to date.
That kicks off away from home at 2pm on Saturday, November 12.
