Regional 2 Tribute South West: Wadebridge Camels 83-0 Burnham-on-Sea
BURNHAM-on-Sea RFC were heavily beaten at the weekend in their match away from home against Wadebridge Camels.
The Stags lost the match in the Regional 2 Tribute South West 83 points to nil as the Camels were in top form.
The result leaves Burnham in last place in the league table while Wadebridge stay in second place.
In the match, there was a debut for Matthew Winter on the wing as he has continued to impress during his matches for the second team. As well as that, there was a return from injury for Sam Wall.
It was a damp and foggy setting for the match but the rugby played by Wadebridge was quite the opposite.
The Camels ran in 13 tries in the match with the bonus point secured after 20 minutes of play.
Those tries came from: Dom Hawkey (2), Rupert Edwards, Rich Treleaven, Herbie Stupple (2), Will Pengelly, Jack Counter (2), Ollie Aggiss (2), Will Symons, Rhys Bright.
All together a difficult defeat for Burnham who will now look to put it behind them as they return to action next Saturday away against Chard RFC.
