Somerset prepared for this year's Metro Bank 50 over Cup campaign with matches against their local National County teams Cornwall and Devon, both of which they won.
Fielding a team that was missing their regular first teasers who are involved in The 100 which got underway earlier this week, against Cornwall at Boscawen Park, Truro on Sunday, they looked to be in trouble at 49 for five.

When Cornwall replied Ogborne disposed of both openers and when Academy youngster Joe Heywood bowled Karl Leathley the hosts had slipped to 42 for three.
Jake Rowe and Max Tryfonos then rallied the situation and took the score onto 107 before Aldridge accounted for the former for 34.
Tryfonos then put on 46 for the fifth wicket with Somerset Academy’s Kian Roberts who made 19, before he departed for 46, another victim for Ogborne.
After that there was little resistance and Cornwall were all out for 177 in the 38th over, Ogborne ending with three for 27 and Aldridge three for 36.
