England Golf has named Burnham & Berrow's Patience Rhodes in its nine-player National Women's Squad for 2024/25.
The talented golfer has been recognised for her impressive achievements and contributions.
Ms Rhodes, a 20-year-old player from Arizona State University, has been a key figure in the sport.
She was part of the Great Britain and Ireland's Curtis Cup-winning team in August/September and played a significant role in helping England Women win their Home Internationals in August.
Her other notable achievements include winning the St Rule Trophy in 2023 and helping Europe win the Patsy Hankins Trophy in 2023 against Asia/Pacific.
She has also represented England at the European Ladies’ Team Championship in 2023 (silver) and 2024 (bronze), and the European Girls’ Team Championship in 2022.
Ms Rhodes has had a successful year, with a top-10 finish at the South American Amateur in January and a third-place finish at the Dr Donnis Thompson Invitational (USA) in March.
She joins Lottie Woad, Isla McDonald-O’Brien, Sophia Fullbrook, and Nellie Ong in the National Women’s Squad, all of whom remain in the set-up.
England Golf Women's performance manager, Becca Hembrough, said: "2024 has been a great year for our women and girls, with a gold in the European Girls’ Team Championship and a bronze in the Women’s Team Championship, while both England Women and Girls won at their respective Home Internationals.
"Not just that but we’ve had the likes of Lottie winning the Augusta National Women’s Amateur and competing at majors, and, alongside Patience and Mimi, helping GB&I win back the Curtis Cup.
"Furthermore, with three of our women going on to become professionals, it is a testament to the great work that the England Golf coaching team and support does in helping these young players go as far as they can in the amateur game, before going on to realise their dreams in professional golf."
From last year’s England Women’s squad, Jess Baker, Rosie Belsham, and Mimi Rhodes have all recently turned professional.
Lily Hirst is a new addition to the squad, and Sadie Adams, Amelia Wan, and Matilde Santilli have all progressed from the Girls’ Squad.
The new additions to the Girls’ Squad include Lila Bisset, Lauren Crump, Ellie Lichtenhein, Elizabeth Wilson, and Emily Peaford, while Annabel Peaford, Charlotte Naughton, and Chloe Tarbard, all prepare for their second year in the set-up.
